National Minorities in the Republic of Albania,\u201d Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 769 dated 15.12.2021 \u201cOn the Criteria for Supporting Initiatives and Projects Aiming to Protect the Rights of National Minorities, and the Selection Criteria for Financing and Administering the Fund for National Minorities,\u201d the Strategic Plan for the Institutional Development of the Committee for National Minorities 2023\u20132026, and the 2025 Annual Program \u201cFor Participation in the Competitive Grant Funding Procedure,\u201d announces the second call under the motto:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u201cDiversity Unites Us: Preserving Traditions and Customs, Building the Future\u201d (Call II)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Committee for National Minorities opens the call for project proposals aimed at financially supporting, with public funds, project proposals submitted by civil society organizations (which are registered according to the law, carry out activities according to the objectives defined in their statutes, and possess a Tax Identification Number - NIPT); as well as natural persons registered in the National Registration Center (QKB); whose activities include the protection, promotion, and support of the rights of national minorities (thus, the beneficiaries of the grants will be civil society organizations or natural persons belonging exclusively to one national minority and whose activity objective is the protection and promotion of the cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and traditional identity of national minorities).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This call aims to support projects carried out in Albania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The call for project proposals by the Committee for National Minorities for the year 2025 will be open from the date\u00a0<strong><u>April 23rd 2025 until June 6th 2025, 14:00.<\/u><\/strong>Project proposals submitted must be completed by December 2025 and must comply with the criteria announced in the Grants Guide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We emphasize that the Committee for National Minorities, in its role as the funding authority, is based on the following principles:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Freedom of participation and competition;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Non-discrimination and equal treatment;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Transparency of procedures and decision-making, providing all candidates with the relevant procedural information;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Compliance with the grant objectives and the efficient use of resources, based on the competitive system and criteria that enable the evaluation of the project proposal as well as the technical and financial specifications for the selection and allocation of the grant;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The absence of retroactivity, excluding the possibility of allocating funds for activities already carried out as of the decision date;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"
