Komiteti p\u00ebr Pakicat Komb\u00ebtare \u00ebsht\u00eb krijuar me Ligjin 96\/2017 \u201cP\u00ebr mbrojtjen e Pakicave Komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb Republik\u00ebn e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb\u201d<\/strong>. Komiteti ka q\u00ebllim sigurimin e mbrojtjes dhe promovimit t\u00eb t\u00eb drejtave dhe t\u00eb interesave t\u00eb pakicave komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb RSH. Ai \u00ebsht\u00eb institucion q\u00ebndror n\u00eb var\u00ebsi t\u00eb Kryeministrit dhe p\u00ebrb\u00ebhet nga Kryetari, N\u00ebnkryetari dhe 9 an\u00ebtar\u00eb ( nj\u00eb an\u00ebtar p\u00ebr cdo pakic\u00eb t\u00eb njohur zyrtarisht nga Republika e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb).<\/span><\/p>\n

National minorities in the Republic of Albania are the Greek, Macedonian, Aromanian, Roma, Egyptian, Montenegrin, Bosniak, Serbian, and Bulgarian minorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Komiteti p\u00ebr Pakicat Komb\u00ebtare \u00ebsht\u00eb organ konsultativ i qeveris\u00eb n\u00eb lidhje me c\u00ebshtjet dhe problematikat q\u00eb kan\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebjne me t\u00eb drejtat e pakicave komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri. Komiteti ka t\u00eb drejt\u00eb t\u2019i propozoj\u00eb organeve shtet\u00ebrore \u00e7\u00ebshtje t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb p\u00ebr pakicat, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht p\u00ebrsa i takon zbatimit t\u00eb detyrimeve kushtetuese, si dhe t\u00eb akteve t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta q\u00eb rregullojn\u00eb t\u00eb drejtat dhe lirit\u00eb e personave q\u00eb u p\u00ebrkasin k\u00ebtyre pakicave. A landmark action in recognizing and protecting minority rights was Albania\u2019s signing of the Council of Europe\u2019s Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities on June 29, 1995. It was ratified by the Albanian Parliament with Law No.\u202f8496 on June 3, 1999, with instruments of ratification deposited on September 28, 1999, and the convention entered into force on January 1, 2000<\/p>\n

Positive developments have also been noted in the context of fulfilling the requirements of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and the ongoing process for the country\u2019s accession to the EU, while a significant institutional step can be considered the establishment of the State Committee for Minorities by Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 127, dated 11.03.2004 \u201cOn the Establishment of the State Committee for Minorities\u201d, created for the protection of the rights of national minorities in the Republic of Albania. Based on this Decision, from 2004 to 2017, the Republic of Albania officially recognized the national ethnic minorities, which included the Greek minority, the Macedonian minority, and the Serbo-Montenegrin minority, as well as ethno-linguistic minorities, which included the Vlach minority and the Roma minority.<\/p>\n

The Committee on National Minorities was established by Law No. 96\/2017 \u201cOn the Protection of National Minorities in the Republic of Albania\u201d. The Committee\u2019s purpose is to ensure the protection and promotion of the rights and interests of national minorities in the Republic of Albania. It is a central institution under the authority of the Prime Minister and is composed of the Chairperson, the Deputy Chairperson, and 9 members (one member for each minority officially recognized by the Republic of Albania).<\/p>\n

National minorities in the Republic of Albania are the Greek, Macedonian, Aromanian, Roma, Egyptian, Montenegrin, Bosniak, Serbian, and Bulgarian minorities.<\/p>\n

The Committee on National Minorities is a consultative body to the government regarding issues and challenges related to the rights of national minorities in Albania. The Committee has the right to propose to state authorities matters of special importance for the minorities, especially concerning the implementation of constitutional obligations, as well as other specific acts regulating the rights and freedoms of persons belonging to these minorities. Komiteti p\u00ebr Pakicat Komb\u00ebtare \u00ebsht\u00eb krijuar me Ligjin 96\/2017 \u201cP\u00ebr mbrojtjen e Pakicave Komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb Republik\u00ebn e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb\u201d<\/strong>. Komiteti ka q\u00ebllim sigurimin e mbrojtjes dhe promovimit t\u00eb t\u00eb drejtave dhe t\u00eb interesave t\u00eb pakicave komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb RSH. Ai \u00ebsht\u00eb institucion q\u00ebndror n\u00eb var\u00ebsi t\u00eb Kryeministrit dhe p\u00ebrb\u00ebhet nga Kryetari, N\u00ebnkryetari dhe 9 an\u00ebtar\u00eb ( nj\u00eb an\u00ebtar p\u00ebr cdo pakic\u00eb t\u00eb njohur zyrtarisht nga Republika e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb).<\/span><\/p>\n

National minorities in the Republic of Albania are the Greek, Macedonian, Aromanian, Roma, Egyptian, Montenegrin, Bosniak, Serbian, and Bulgarian minorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Komiteti p\u00ebr Pakicat Komb\u00ebtare \u00ebsht\u00eb organ konsultativ i qeveris\u00eb n\u00eb lidhje me c\u00ebshtjet dhe problematikat q\u00eb kan\u00eb t\u00eb b\u00ebjne me t\u00eb drejtat e pakicave komb\u00ebtare n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri. Komiteti ka t\u00eb drejt\u00eb t\u2019i propozoj\u00eb organeve shtet\u00ebrore \u00e7\u00ebshtje t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsis\u00eb s\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb p\u00ebr pakicat, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht p\u00ebrsa i takon zbatimit t\u00eb detyrimeve kushtetuese, si dhe t\u00eb akteve t\u00eb tjera t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta q\u00eb rregullojn\u00eb t\u00eb drejtat dhe lirit\u00eb e personave q\u00eb u p\u00ebrkasin k\u00ebtyre pakicave. A landmark action in recognizing and protecting minority rights was Albania\u2019s signing of the Council of Europe\u2019s Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities on June 29, 1995. It was ratified by the Albanian Parliament with Law No.\u202f8496 on June 3, 1999, with instruments of ratification deposited on September 28, 1999, and the convention entered into force on January 1, 2000<\/p>\n

Positive developments have also been noted in the context of fulfilling the requirements of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and the ongoing process for the country\u2019s accession to the EU, while a significant institutional step can be considered the establishment of the State Committee for Minorities by Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 127, dated 11.03.2004 \u201cOn the Establishment of the State Committee for Minorities\u201d, created for the protection of the rights of national minorities in the Republic of Albania. Based on this Decision, from 2004 to 2017, the Republic of Albania officially recognized the national ethnic minorities, which included the Greek minority, the Macedonian minority, and the Serbo-Montenegrin minority, as well as ethno-linguistic minorities, which included the Vlach minority and the Roma minority.<\/p>\n

The Committee on National Minorities was established by Law No. 96\/2017 \u201cOn the Protection of National Minorities in the Republic of Albania\u201d. The Committee\u2019s purpose is to ensure the protection and promotion of the rights and interests of national minorities in the Republic of Albania. It is a central institution under the authority of the Prime Minister and is composed of the Chairperson, the Deputy Chairperson, and 9 members (one member for each minority officially recognized by the Republic of Albania).<\/p>\n

The Committee on National Minorities is a consultative body to the government regarding issues and challenges related to the rights of national minorities in Albania. The Committee has the right to propose to state authorities matters of special importance for the minorities, especially concerning the implementation of constitutional obligations, as well as other specific acts regulating the rights and freedoms of persons belonging to these minorities.
