Law No. 96\/2017 completes the legal and institutional framework for national minorities in Albania and serves to clarify policies toward minorities by addressing the recommendations of the Advisory Committee of the Framework Convention during previous monitoring cycles. Since July 13, 1995, Albania has been a member state of the Council of Europe.
