first time by the Republic of Albania in October 2017, unlike other more compact communities, the Bulgarian community is mainly located in three different regions: Golloborda, Gora, and Prespa, where the population is dispersed across small villages.
Religion
The Bulgarian community varies in terms of religion. In Prespa, Orthodox Christians predominate; in Golloborda, the community is mixed, while in Gora, Muslims form the majority.
