The Committee for National Minorities is a central institution, with legal personality, under the authority of the Prime Minister, established by Law No. 96/2017 'On the Protection of National Minorities in the Republic of Albania.' The Committee for National Minorities cooperates with central and local government bodies, as well as with legitimate organizations and associations that carry out activities for the exercise of the rights and freedoms of persons belonging to minorities. Additionally, the Committee for National Minorities collaborates, on various issues, in the interest of persons belonging to national minorities, with relevant international bodies and institutions.
In the framework of the implementation of Law No. 9887, dated 10.03.2008, as amended by Law No. 48/2012, and further amended by Law No. 120/2014 'On the Protection of Personal Data', this document outlines the manner in which the Committee for National Minorities safeguards the personal data collected in relation to:

me personalitet juridik, në varësi të Kryeministrit i krijuar me ligjin Nr. 96/2017 “Për mbrojtjen e Pakicave Kombëtare në Republikën e Shqipërisë” .
